The Ohio Safety Net Alliance (OSNA) is an agency-to-agency network that helps the people doing the work share resources, prevent duplication and reach clients faster. We exist to support member agencies — not to replace them.
Our story
Started in Clermont. Built for Ohio.
OSNA began in 2012 in Clermont County, where a small group of agency leaders kept running into the same problem: a family would walk into one agency for help, then a different agency for help, and no one knew the full picture. Calls were duplicated. Resources were missed. Time was lost.
They built a simple network so agencies could pick up the phone and reach each other quickly. Over the years it grew into a statewide collaborative — nonprofits, faith communities, businesses, county departments and government partners — all working through a shared platform to send referrals, alerts and updates in real time.
Today the alliance operates through county chapters, each run by member agencies who know their community best. OSNA is not a funding source. We exist to equip and support member agencies so they can serve people more effectively and with less stress.

Agencies send alerts, swap referrals and pool resources so client needs are met without duplicating services.

Chapter meetings 3 times per year keep agency leaders aligned on trends, gaps and new opportunities to serve together.

Each chapter has its own executive team, administrator and fiscal agent — so decisions stay close to the community being served.
Shared platform.
Every chapter uses the same secure referral and alert system, so a partner in Clermont can reach a partner in Adams the same way they reach a neighbor next door.
Voluntary, accessible dues.
Membership is open to agencies of any size. Annual dues are voluntary and based on your budget — never a barrier to joining.
Reduced duplication.
OSNA works to reduce duplication of services by improving communication and coordination between agencies across the region through shared referrals, real-time updates, and collaborative partnerships.
